Two NYC Seniors Used Dead Friend To Try and Cash Check
Two men in their sixties are facing charges in New York in a rather strange case even for this city. Police say that the two men, David Valeria, and James O'hare, both 65, tried to wheel their dead friend into a check cashing place in Manhattan in an attempt to cash a check of his he had just gotten in the mail. The 66 year old man was a roommate of one of the suspects who had recently died. No foul play is suspected by police as far as murder goes but the pair have been charged with fraud, and petty larceny. The check they were attempting to cash was for $355.
