Making Money Off A Dead Celebrity

Can anybody believe how they are jumping all over themselves on these tabloid tv shows about this Heath Ledger thing? Entertainmant Tonight and the Insider are Unbelieveable. Lara Spencer is outside his apartment taking close up shots of the flowers that fans are leaving. E.T. was promoting a lost interview that they had with Ledger. What was lost about it? It was from last November when he was promoting that Dylan Movie he was in "Im Not There". The movie poster was on the wall in the background. E.T. announces that they have new info just into our newsroom and then they go into a recap of the last three years of his life. He met his ex wife Michelle Williams on the set of Brokeback Mountain and they had a daughter blah blah blah and im like That was just into the newsroom? Then they go and get reactions from other celebrities and they get John Travolta who says "...He was my favorite actor probably..." Now somebody tell me what that means? The phony sincerity is really weird sometimes from these actors. E.T. used his death as an excuse to go dust off old footage of every other actor that died unexpectedly. They retold the deaths of John Belushi in 1982, River Phoenix in 1993, Chris Farley, Dana Plato, Chris Penn, even Marilyn Monroe, it was cheap and tacky. They said they were outside his apartment working the story. You know what that means? They were badgering the investigators coming out the front door and asking them leading questions about whether the death was drug related so they could report it as a more salacious story. It is such garbage the way they beat these people up when they die and try to milk every dollar they can out of it. This is like the third day in a row they have covered this story like a blanket. Look for a few more days of that at least. I cant wait until next week for Entertainment Tonight's "lost Photos" of the funeral.
