Teens, Virginity, And The Truth
When it comes to the issue of sex researchers found that teenagers generally are not forthcoming when it comes to talking about it honestly nor are they very good at avoiding its temptations or its risks or keeping promises when it comes to pledges about maintaining their virginity. According to a survey by the Harvard School of Public Health more than half of a group of teenagers in a study who signed a pledge of virginity vowing not to engage in any kind of sexual activity before marriage gave up the pledge within a year. In addition, of the 14,000 who participated nearly 75% of the participants who broke their pledge then denied that they ever made the commitment in the first place.
