Authorities in Missouri are suspecting a woman, her teenage daughter, and another teen of being involved in an internet chatroom hoax that led to the suicide of a 13 year old girl from the same neighborhood.
The young teen believed that she was exchanging messages with a 16 year old boy online but it turned out not to be the case. The girl hanged herself after the exchanges began to get cruel and emotionally hurtful. One of the messages told her that the world would be better off without her. Investigators are looking onto what the connections might be between the girl and the other parties involved offline.
