Study Says More Teens Using Cough Syrup To Get High
A new government report indicates that about 5% of Americans age 15-25 have used over the counter cough medications to get high. The effect of this usage is that it can cause halucinations and out of body experiences similiar to the effects of P.C.P. Parents should be aware that females 12-17 are more likely than males of that age to be engaging in this particular type of activity. Overall the level of abuse of over the counter medications for this purpose is about the same as the levels of abuse of L.S.D., Meth, and Ecstacy.
