9-11 Attacks Causing Health Problems for Americans Years Later.

There is little doubt that the attacks on September 11th, 2001 did more than just the physical damage that was sustained at ground zero. There is now evidence to indicate that the nation has suffered phychological damage and that this is causing a manifestation of health issues for many Americans long after the attacks.
A University of California survey has found that a group of Americans who reported being anxious and stressed after the attacks are reporting higher rates of heart disease 3 years later. The results are from people who had no direct connection to the events on 9-11. They also say that they suffer from nightmares about the attacks, flashbacks, and increased fears and worries about future attacks.
