a stock tip for those who are interested-and its good for you and the planet you live on

There are over 14,000 stocks listed on the new york stock exchange. Some are winners and some are losers but some of them start out good and only seem to go up thru the passage of time. I have found one such stock. The company is called first solar. (fslr) As you probably guessed by now it is a company that makes solar panels and solar modules. These kinds of companies are good for mother earth and they are good for people too. The solar modules that they make use a semi conductor technology. The modules are coated with a film called cadmium telluride. Cadmium is the same substance that you find in Nickel cadmium rechargeable batteries. Anyway about 54% of the company is owned by the family of the late John Walton ( they started the wal-mart stores) Who died tragically in a plane crash in 2005.
In december of 2006 one share of this company was trading on the stock exchange for about $23 a share. Today, less than one year later it closed north of $185 a share. That is almost a 700% increase in 11 months. It has come down a little bit lately because the market has had some jitters in the last week, it was up over $200 a share but it is going up again. This stock looks like a winner to me. I think it will continue to climb for years like google has. So if your interested in making a little money and at the same time take a step towards helping out your troubled planet by easing the demand for oil you might think about giving this stock a look.
